In 2022, Sirius Engineering was appointed by DCFoods to develop a long-term expansion model. DCFoods is a major exporter of frozen fruit and dairy products. The outcome of this initiative was a functional requirement for a processing and warehouse facility. Sirius Engineering was
then tasked with executing the expansion model. DCFoods is situated in Coega, Gqeberha.
The project included the construction of a new ice cream plant, fruit preparation, processing and packaging plants, as well as a new deep freeze store and staff facilities. Sirius’ scope of services included the full range of project management, process engineering, and architectural duties.
